When the job listing feels too vague

Has anyone else noticed the trend of super vague job descriptions lately? I saw one for a marketing role that listed ‘enthusiastic contribution’ as a major requirement. It made me wonder what exactly they were looking for — maybe they just want someone to bring coffee? It’s frustrating, especially when trying to tailor a resume to match vague expectations?

I totally get what you mean. When I see vague listings, I like to reach out to the recruiter for clarity — it can really help you tailor your application. Have you tried that before?

It’s really frustrating when you see terms like ‘enthusiastic contribution’ that just leave you guessing. I’ve found that sometimes it helps to look at the company’s culture on their website to get a feel for what they might mean. Have you done any research on the company before applying? @labnotebook89 has a good point about reaching out to recruiters, too.
