Is anyone else frustrated by the constant shortages of basic supplies like gauze and tape — i mean, last week I had to use a paper towel for a dressing because we ran out. It’s ridiculous how often this happens, and it makes our jobs so much harder.
I hear you on the supply shortages; they really get in the way sometimes. When I ran into a similar issue, I started keeping a backup stash of essential supplies in my locker. It’s not an ideal solution, but it sure helps in a pinch.
I totally get it; I once had to improvise with some old dress socks when we ran out of gauze! I’ve started checking the supplies weekly and putting in orders early, which helps a bit. Maybe we can form a support group for the ‘creative dressing’ techniques? @aholland.
