Is Simulation-Based Training Effective

I’ve been thinking about how realistic simulation training really is for improving our skills. I recently completed a course that focused on high-fidelity simulations, and it felt so much different than just theoretical learning. Does anyone have experiences with simulation training that they found particularly helpful or not worth the time?

And simulation training really does change the game. I remember doing a high-fidelity scenario myself, and it felt so much more impactful than just reading about it. Have you found the setup costs worth it for your skill improvement?

And i found that debriefing right after a simulation helped solidify what I learned, especially when discussing with others… It’s a great way to catch different perspectives — @jay3875, did you have a chance to do that in your course?
