Is remote work damaging team dynamics

I just noticed how remote work has changed the way we communicate in teams. In my last job, team bonding relied so much on those casual hallway chats, but now, it feels like everything’s just scheduled and formalized. Are we losing something important in the transition to virtual collaboration? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

And i get what you mean about losing the casual vibe — it’s like switching from a spontaneous coffee break to a board meeting over Zoom… To keep that connection, maybe try setting aside a few minutes each week for a team ‘virtual coffee?’ I wonder if that’d help rekindle some of the organic interactions?
