How to remember labs on the fly

I’ve been working on ways to memorize lab values more effectively during shifts. The other day, I found this app that helps quiz you on specific values in a flash, and it’s made a huge difference in how quickly I can recall them. Anyone else have tips or tricks for speedy recall in high-pressure situations?

I totally get that! Mnemonics are like the cheat codes of nursing; they really come in handy when you’re juggling a million things. Have you tried associating lab values with some weird food items?

I hear you on the lab values! I’ve started using flashcards when I’m off shift — they’re great for quick review, like a study buddy that never judges. Do you think you’d find that useful too, @srodriguez78?
