Effective tools for managing pediatric pain

I’ve been exploring various strategies for managing pain in young patients, and I find that tools like the FLACC scale have been invaluable. It’s so important to understand their non-verbal cues, especially when they can’t articulate what they’re feeling. I’m curious to hear what tools or methods others find effective in their practice.

Absolutely agree on the FLACC scale! I’ve also had success using distraction techniques like VR headsets for kids. Have you tried anything similar to help with non-verbal communication?
