I’m in the market for a new stethoscope and I’m wondering what everyone is using these days. I’ve been eyeing the Littmann Classic III but would love to hear about your experiences or recommendations. What do you find most useful in your daily shifts?

I’ve found the Littmann Classic III to be top-notch, especially for assessing lung sounds during shifts. It’s a solid investment because the sound quality is just incredible — definitely worth considering for everyday use. Have you thought about the weight? I found that a lighter stethoscope made a huge difference during long shifts.

If you’re looking at the Littmann Classic III, it’s definitely a great choice for general practice. Just keep in mind that while the sound quality is impressive, the price can be a bit steep. Have you considered any models that might offer similar quality at a lower price point?
